Birthday Parties
Cakes do not come standard with Explorers' birthday parties. This beauty
came from our friend Jason's party, in 2014.
Mohr's Explorers' Birthday Parties are available most weekends upon request (because of our after-school schedule, weekday parties are difficult, but if we can work it out, we will). Our parties are two hours from pick-up to drop off and, of course, always outdoors. Scheduling a rain date is recommended, but in light rain, which also makes for a fun time, we will proceed as scheduled. We meet the group anywhere it is most convenient near Central Park (or anywhere in the South Mountain Reservation for our New Jersey Explorers). The SW corner of 79th Street and 5th Avenue or the SE corner of 81st Street and CPW are the most popular meeting spots and we can do any activity within those areas of the park.
We provide age-appropriate, outdoors-themed games and activities that promise a plethora of fun and amusement. The child can be involved in the planning and if possible, we can build the party around a requested activity or two. Either way, we deliver an unforgettable experience.
After the party, the drop off can be at a restaurant, your home or any other nearby location you desire. Parents also often use the two-hour window of party time to decorate, set up lunch, cake, etc. at the Ross Pinetum picnic area, which is easily accessible from the 85th Street entrance on either side of the park (click here for a map). Please note, for New Jersey families, drop off outside of the Reservation is not an option.

Please be advised, if there are more than 20 people attending the festivities in Central Park, you should apply for a permit. Not to worry, the process is easy (Information for obtaining a permit)!
